Lansing will offer multiple days of meals
Parents and children can pick up meals Monday through Friday at the Lansing School District times and locations below. Board of Education President Gabrielle Lawrence said the meals will be available to all children, regardless if they’re enrolled with the school district.
They can take lunch and breakfast for the next day or meals for multiple days, including weekends. According to a social media post from East Lansing’s superintendent, the Lansing program will offer meals to East Lansing students who live in Lansing. The times and locations are:

East Lansing feeding plans
Any parents or children can pick up two day’s worth of bagged breakfasts and lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting this Monday, according to information provided by East Lansing Public Schools Superintendent Dori Leyko.
The food will be distributed from a school bus or food delivery truck at scheduled times and locations, including:
9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Deerpath Apartments, 1290 Deerpath Lane
9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Edgewood Village Apartments, 6213 Towar Gardens Circle.
9:45 a.m to 10:15 a.m at 1855 Place, 550 S. Harrison Road, and University Village Apartments, 1199 Garden City Road.
10:30 a.m. at Spartan Village, 1230 Garden City Road.
9:45 to 10:15 a.m. Capital City Vineyard Church, 1635 Coolidge Road.
Okemos will offer grab and go meals
Okemos Public Schools will provide students and all community children breakfast and lunch meals that will be available for pickup. Up to four days’ worth of meals can be picked up at one a time, including weekend meals.
- Meals can be picked up on weekdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the west side of Okemos High School at 2800 Jolly Road.
Charlotte offers grab and go meals
Free meals for children, including breakfast and lunch, will be provided by Charlotte Public Schools at five locations on weekdays.
Locations for pickup include:
- 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from March 16 through April 3 at Charlotte High School, 378 State St.
- 1 p.m. to 1:20 p.m. from March 18 through April 3 at The Meadows Community, 1563 Lansing Road, and at Courthouse Square at the corner of Bostwick and Harris Streets
- 1:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. from March 18 through April 3 at Butternut Creek Apartments, 100 Butternut Drive, and at The Old School Village Apartments, 301 Horatio Ave.
Eaton Rapids kids will eat
Any Eaton Rapids child can access a week’s supply of breakfasts and lunches at curbside pickups starting Tuesday.
- Meals can be picked up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 17, 19, 24, 26, 31 and April 2 at Greyhound Intermediate School, 805 Greyhound Drive.
